| More unhappy headlines for the GOP |
Update: Previous: - Arnold's got no mandate, either...
- School board creationists booted out en masse in PA, even as their compatriots consign Kansas students to the bottom of the college entrance food chain...
- Congressman, Senator say: subpoena that lying sack of Iranian spy, Ahmad Chalabi
- By the way, Ahmad sees "no wall of ice" at all between himself and the administration that funded his tea-sipping exploits in Europe during Saddam's reign... (way to keep a low profile, Chal ole boy...)
- Remember the guy they call "Scalito" (though not to his face)? He might not be so "right"on Roe after all... (et tu, activist court improver?)
- Sorry Rick Santorum, apparently Iraq is so violent, we can hardly try Saddam Hussein... Oh, and Rick, now that you're spearheading an effort with neocon bloggers to get out the "good news" on Iraq, are you now supportive or unsupportive of the administration's tactics in fighting the war over there? Oh, and remember this???
In 1999, Santorum took President Clinton to task for the Kosovo conflict. Santorum said, “President Clinton is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy.” No Americans were killed in combat during the Kosovo conflict. [Associated Press, 3/24/99; CNN’s “Live This Morning,” 9/18/01] Ahem...
