Another 2:30 a.m. incident at Chez Woods, this time involving a “blonde woman” rushed to the hospital. (Luckily, she wasn’t wearing a bustier or clutching an envelope full of People Magazine pay-to-chat cash…) Since Elin has reportedly moved out, speculation is now focused on her mom, reports now confirming that the woman is Tiger’s mother-in-law, who apparently arrived in town this week. From WESH in Orlando:

WINDERMERE, Fla. — Orange County firefighters responded to a medical call at the residence of Tiger Woods on Tuesday morning. The call was received at 2:36 a.m. A radio log showed an adult woman was transported to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee. The log also showed the patient initially refused transport, but was later listed as an advanced life support patient.

Several celebrity news Web sites reported that the mother of Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, had arrived in Central Florida on Monday. It is not known if she was the patient. Video from the hospital showed a middle-aged woman being removed from an ambulance on a stretcher and taken through an emergency entrance.

Health Central is the same hospital where Woods was taken after his crash on Nov. 27.

A black Cadillac Escalade with Nordegren inside was seen leaving the hospital shortly after the ambulance arrived there.

And from Orlando’s WKMG:

The tag number on the sport utility vehicle has only one digit different than the one on the Escalade that Woods crashed the day after Thanksgiving, Local 6 News reported. Both SUVs are registered to General Motors, which has lent vehicles to Woods.

Meanwhile, Tiger’s publicity headaches just keep mounting, as reports as surfacing that his wife may have told police that he had been drinking and taking Ambien before his now infamous golf club-assisted car wreck. (I’m thinking this publicity can’t be good for Sanofi Aventis, the makers of Ambien, either…) From the London Daily Mail:

Earlier today, it was revealed Woods was categorised as a suspected overdose after he smashed his car into a fire hydrant and tree outside his home last month.

His wife gave paramedics at the hospital two bottles of prescription drugs, Vicodin painkillers and Ambien sleeping pills, according to influential celebrity website TMZ.

The golfer was said to have been struggling to breathe with doctors resorting to using a tube to help get air to his lungs.
There have been claims that Woods was drinking and taking Ambien and Vicodin on the night of the accident.

The Florida state trooper who investigated the scene sought a court order to get a blood sample because he believed the golf star had been driving under the influence.

The trooper is thought to have been told by a witness who removed the driver from the vehicle – thought to be Woods’ wife – that the golfer had been drinking earlier in the day and was prescribed medication.

Questions were being asked last night over whether Woods got special treatment after the request for a blood test was denied on the grounds of insufficient evidence.

Police said publicly that alcohol was not a factor and merely issued a £100 ticket for careless driving. [Read more: here]

And the Mail hints that the tally of ladies (and I do use the term loosely) could include a British lass.

According to the Sun, there are claims that Woods had enjoyed a fling with a well-known female British television presenter.

It quoted a source as saying: ‘He would hook up with her when he went to the UK. She’s really sexy and very well known. A good friend of mine told me about it years ago.’

The source, said to be a sports marketing executive who had known Woods for years, added: ‘Both will be hoping this one doesn’t come out. It will take the scandal to a new level.’

The claim was furiously denied yesterday by the woman in question, who insisted there was no truth in what was being claimed.
Woods has been visiting Britain for the Open championship since 1995. He first won it in 2000, and triumphed again in 2005 and 2006.

Meanwhile, there could also be … and this one might make you ill … naked Tiger pictures, to go alongside the in-the-buff Levi Johnston pics in Playgirl. Oh, the humanity!
