Charlie’s Funny Valentine

February 12, 2010 · Posted in Charlie Crist, Elections, Marco Rubio, People, Politics

(Sweet, comic Valentine …) The Crist campaign appears to have shifted from rope-a-dope to sugar-coated jabs. I guess those shock polls have finally sunken in.

Camp Crist uses Valentine’s Day as the occasion to attack his tea partying opponent as a tax raiser, Chris Dodd-like special mortgage favor receiver, earmarking lobbyist guy and basically the opposite of everything his supporters believe him to be. It’s a bit lengthy, but I guess Crist’s campaign figures it’s the readers who are persuadable. Here it is in full size.

The question is, whether a) there are still enough persuadable Republicans out there to make a difference for Crist (more likely than not) or b) hardcore tea partying Rubiophiles can be swayed by sugary-candy based political humor (probably not so much…)

So far, no tweet response from Rubio. Stay tuned …

It’s only February, but have the US Senate candidates already jumped the shark?
