He’s like to turn Medicare and Medicaid into block grants (much like Paul Ryan) – and raise the Social Security retirement age, as his version of that “transition” Paul says the kids dig so much. Plus, he’s down with eliminating all public funding of education and getting rid of child labor laws.

Ron Paul said at about 2:37: “My own personal opinion is that all this stuff is unconstitutional but that’s NOT GOING TO HAPPEN because we live in a different age. If we made common sense out of this I would cut all this militarism and not cut people off of medical care.”
That sounds pretty reasonable to me, even though none of us believes in Paul’s crazier ideas.
As for Gary Johnson, Greenwald has made clear he is not supporting him so we can move on from that conspiracy theory.
