Nick Hanauer explains it all: middle class CONSUMERS are the ‘job creators’

If you caught Nick Hanauer on “Lawrence” tonight, you may be wondering, who is that guy? Well, he’s the multimillionaire tech investor who delivered the talk the TED conference found too “controversial” to post on their website. Here it is:

More on the TED folks’ censoring of Hanauer’s speech, which apparently, would offend the ruling class too much to allow to be heard. Of course, it got out anyway … you know … Youtube…

Hanauer has also said that the term “job creators,” which was chosen deliberately, probably by focus group, is in essence an invitation to worship, and Republicans/conservatives have successfully deployed it in order to make the rich appear worthy of awe and wonder — signifying endless tax cuts and special government gimmes.

Language matters.
