It has happened many times in many countries, including ours. But what’s sad is that the message that economically insecure, blue collar white Americans are being fed, is that they have to oppose healthcare that would help many of them and their families, and they are being fed that message even as they are being fed into the Republican Party as voters and donors. This of course, is a scam, much like Republicans raising money off of fear of terrorism, fear of arcane Congressional voting rules, fear of immigrants streaming across the border, fear of, insert “whatever” here and they use it to herd their base into the voting booths, and to effect the redistribution of their hard-earned money to Republicans, who in turn use those donations to pad their own bloated lifestyles. The truth is, the GOP big boys are probably privately laughing at the dumb rubes they haul out to these protests, all the way to the bank. (Their own fundraising documents prove it.) AIGFA to Re-Brand – Will Now be SagePoint

AIG announced that AIG Financial Advisors is being re-branded (changing its name) to SagePoint Financial. Clearly they are trying to distance themselves from the negative brand image that the mother-ship, AIG, is enjoying at the moment. AIGFA is the second largest of the three B/D’s in the AIG Advisor Group. The other two being Royal Alliance and FSC – who, conveniently, are not tainted at the moment with the AIG brand name……..
